2022 Color Builders celebrates Aurifil’s variegated thread. The color inspiration is drawn from 12 breathtaking rainforest plants. These plants are a representation of our earth’s most threatened tropical forests, largely affected by deforestation and climate change. One of the largest single flowering plants in the world native to Sumatra & Borneo rainforests--40 inches diameter and 10kg recorded 2019. Has unpleasant odour of rotting flesh which helps pollinate.
