On a personal Note:
Today was my mom's 95th Birthday--another reason to Celebrate!
For her Gift: I was inspired to re-purpose one of her crocheted doilies into a makeup pouch.
After stabilizing with Acorn Treatment, then free-motion-quilted the doilie using Aurifil #2000 light sand and Superior Bottom Line 651 Ivory in bobbin.
Folded in half, inserted zipper, seams and added gusset. Handcrafted gifts are the best aren't they?
