Gone Fishing

Another challenge and #2 in my character series....this quilt depicts Teddy's favorite leisure activity-Fishing for Quilts. The 8 fabrics were allocated from 2 countries: Canada and New Zealand. The Pacific Challenge involved 40 members from the Victoria Quilters' Guild on Vancouver Island, B.C. and the Auckland Patchworkers & Quilters' Guild, NZ. The multi-cultural exhibit was showcased at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria 2009.
