Perhaps a better name would be Journal or News. I chose B.L.O.G.—who knew that “word” would become traditional? The good news is “Quilting” will always be universally recognized no matter what language we translate. We’ll still be searching for creative ways to express quilt art and new locations to shop for essentials. We desire inspirational instructors, exciting fabrics and especially quality THREADS—the glue! Our support network of quilters through satellite groups, guilds, and communities is vibrant (especially here, on Vancouver Island, BC). Join me as I share how-to articles on Threads and techniques, quilting events, profiles on fabric artists, natural things of beauty and  general interest to curious and resourceful stitchers! ...Cindy Scraba (Cinderella)

Razzle Dazzle™ Hair Thread?

Posted by cindy on Thursday, October 20th, 2011

Glittery threads for hair embellishment--why not? Once again, Razzle Dazzle™ (the signature line for Ricky Tims) is the Thread Star...today I'm celebrating a hallowe-en theme; however, there's something in my Thread Candy Shoppe for any occasion.

Razzle Dazzle #271 Mango Tango is the pumpkin colored thread in the image above...(L)#254 Irish Eyes green, & #259 Purple Velvet. There's several other colors to mix together for variations. Basically, you could do a wedding theme in #51 Icicles , little girl 'pink' fairy and #274 Pixie Dust...

And NITEGLOW™ Glow-in-the dark threads for an Elvira statement with #257 Ruby Slippers! Endless possibilities when you include Glitter™, Halo™ Thread Lines to your options. Simply double the thread, create a slip knot and pull a few strands of hair through tying with a double knot to tighten. Have fun!

  • Hey Cindy, That looks great. We'll be appearing in many customer's hair for Halloween. How fun is that? Ricci Superior Threads
