Perhaps a better name would be Journal or News. I chose B.L.O.G.—who knew that “word” would become traditional? The good news is “Quilting” will always be universally recognized no matter what language we translate. We’ll still be searching for creative ways to express quilt art and new locations to shop for essentials. We desire inspirational instructors, exciting fabrics and especially quality THREADS—the glue! Our support network of quilters through satellite groups, guilds, and communities is vibrant (especially here, on Vancouver Island, BC). Join me as I share how-to articles on Threads and techniques, quilting events, profiles on fabric artists, natural things of beauty and  general interest to curious and resourceful stitchers! ...Cindy Scraba (Cinderella)

TIARA Variegated Silk Thread--now in Canada!

Posted by cindy on Friday, April 29th, 2011

Tiara™ Silk is one of the newest members to my Royal Thread family. As a fibre, Silk has earned this status, and is reputed throughout the fibreworld as "The Queen of Fibres". This Tiara™ line of filament silk thread deserves her high rank, and is now available here @ Cindy's Threadworks.Com.

New TIARA™ Variegated Silks : 24 colors in dark-multi, light-multi, gradations 50 wt.-2 ply, 273 yds. of the finest filament silk.

Distinctive black, scalloped edged spools with pop-up endcaps to secure thread ends.

Speaking of Royalty...the secondary fashions at the Royal Wedding included an array of ridiculous and humorous hats; however, I appreciated the meticulous needlework and millinery talents. AND how about the blinding light show of Military Gold braiding and embroidery extravagance--loved it! Thank you, Prince Harry.

Okay, the Archbishop of Canterbury, William Rowan's cape should be noted as well ;-)
