Perhaps a better name would be Journal or News. I chose B.L.O.G.—who knew that “word” would become traditional? The good news is “Quilting” will always be universally recognized no matter what language we translate. We’ll still be searching for creative ways to express quilt art and new locations to shop for essentials. We desire inspirational instructors, exciting fabrics and especially quality THREADS—the glue! Our support network of quilters through satellite groups, guilds, and communities is vibrant (especially here, on Vancouver Island, BC). Quilt Show Travel Prep

Preparing for my first show and creatively packing the family truck was a challenge. The round trip of 600 KM was a breeze compared to organizing all the details. Here's a glimpse from behind the scenes prior to the Victoria Quilt Show mid-May.
Back seats in trucks are handy?! Luckily they accommodate 7(!) upright thread stands.
Which items might not belong here you ask--the bird house? A crafty guy in the neighborhood makes these and I'm delivering one to my son-in-law whose an avid gardener and appreciates birdies.
Lollipops you ask? Quilters have to eat something since thread isn't edible--yet. Hey, I only packed the most important stuff. And a few thousand spools of glorious threads!
