Perhaps a better name would be Journal or News. I chose B.L.O.G.—who knew that “word” would become traditional? The good news is “Quilting” will always be universally recognized no matter what language we translate. We’ll still be searching for creative ways to express quilt art and new locations to shop for essentials. We desire inspirational instructors, exciting fabrics and especially quality THREADS—the glue! Our support network of quilters through satellite groups, guilds, and communities is vibrant (especially here, on Vancouver Island, BC). Superior King Tut™ ThreadStars

Choosing a great quilt thread helps to create shining stars. Why settle for anything less? This unloved brown border now commands your focus using King Tut #933 Hieroglyphs imprints. The thread alone isn't something to write about, but when paired with the right contrasting fabric, it's poetry in motion. These photos were taken during Heather Purcell's presentation on Color Science during my 3 days at Superior Threads School of Threadology.

The process of auditioning threads is a pleasure when you have both the fabric and thread together for comparison. Always feel free to bring your fabrics or quilt tops with you when choosing this most important element--thread! I'll be a vendor at the upcoming Quilting with the Stars Show in Victoria, BC (Vancouver Island) May 14 -16 and again for Material Magic in Nanaimo, June 18-20th.
