Welcome to Cinderella's Blog
Perhaps a better name would be Journal or News. I chose B.L.O.G.—who knew that “word” would become traditional? The good news is “Quilting” will always be universally recognized no matter what language we translate. We’ll still be searching for creative ways to express quilt art and new locations to shop for essentials. We desire inspirational instructors, exciting fabrics and especially quality THREADS—the glue! Our support network of quilters through satellite groups, guilds, and communities is vibrant (especially here, on Vancouver Island, BC). Join me as I share how-to articles on Threads and techniques, quilting events, profiles on fabric artists, natural things of beauty and general interest to curious and resourceful stitchers! ...Cindy Scraba (Cinderella)

Superior Prewound Bobbins Unvieled
Posted by cindy on Thursday, April 15th, 2010

Superior Threads' Pre-Wound Bobbin Room is no longer a secret! Now you see what goes on behind those closed doors in the warehouse. Clickety-clack-ca-ching is the sound these machines make while spinning their magic. A diligent team of humans takes over to complete the assembly and packaging process. As quilters, we simply open the package and enjoy the conveniences of these fabulous companions. And "Thank You" to Bob Purcell (above) for the entertaining tour of Superior Threads facility and warehouse.

From my Home Page click on Pre-Wound Bobbins for: Frostings Donuts with extra-long-staple cotton and SuperBob's for polyester with a silk-like finish. Both are marvelous for appliqué applications. Now you know! Stay tuned for more secrets from my Superior warehouse tour.
